William C. Miller is an internationally recognized expert on values-centered innovation who was named from 2004-2007 as one of the top 30 thought leaders worldwide by “Leadership Excellence.” He developed the concept of Innovation Styles when he was head of the Innovation Management program at SRI International (formerly Stanford Research Institute) in the mid-1980’s. In 1987, he founded the Global Creativity Corporation, where he furthered his research and consulting on different approaches to innovation in collaboration with dozens of companies in countries as diverse as England, Netherlands, France, India, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Canada, and the USA.
William highlighted the Innovation Styles® in two of his four books: Flash of Brilliance: Inspiring Creativity Where You Work (1999, Perseus), recognized as one of “Executive Book Summaries” top 30 business books in the USA for 1999; and the companion Flash of Brilliance Workbook, selected in 2000 for the Doubleday Executive Book Club. William has also been a Guest Faculty member at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and business schools in India.
In 1996, William began a collaboration and friendship with Alain Rostain, founder of Creative Advantage Inc. Alain brings a unique combination of skills from his 20 years of experience in the field of corporate creativity and innovation – including an expertise in designing internet-based tools for innovation assessments, and his use of experiential techniques gained from his background in improvisational theatre. He is editor of the e-zines InnovAgent and Improv-It, and founder of the Applied Improvisation Network. Combining this experience with his expertise in business innovation and software engineering, Alain stays at the leading edge in bringing innovation consulting, training, assessments and facilitation to his clients in Fortune 100 and 500 companies.
Alain Rostain has taken the lead in making Innovation Styles available to corporations and consultants around the world through his corporate consulting and by automating the evaluation, administration and feedback process.
Jatin is Co-Founder and CEO of DeSai Learning since 1983 in West Hartford, Connecticut, USA. In this capacity, he collaborates with William and Alain on the development of values-driven workshops that focus on “leading an innovative learning organization.” These workshops help in creating a Living Organization by aligning purpose and vision, personal and organizational values, and brand and strategy development.
Jatin specializes in organizational education and development, corporate universities, strategic execution, and technology. Within these fields he has gained extensive experience in strategic planning, business operations, marketing, finance, and customer engagement.
